It took more work to remove the old crappy stock light than to install this, it's pretty much plug and play, comes with extra hardware depending on your truck model and year, the light works great. Great price, fast shipping, can't go wrong. I installed it on a 09 Tacoma.

Works on 2004 Tacoma Double Cab

I can confirm it works on the 2004 Tacoma Double Cab, good luck accessing the two inside bolts/nuts holding the oem 3rd brake light in place. There is a youtube video for us Gen 1 Tacoma owners that will help you.
