It works

One of the 2 protruding screws was loose. So I had to use Gorilla glue to hold it in place to get it through the fender (the lense is sealed leaving you no access to the screw head) then used small long nose pliers hold the threads in order to screw on the lock nut.
No other issues. It looks good & is far brighter than the original tip light.
