I put the smoked lens on to match my tail lights. Took about 5 hrs for both sides, took my time.
Do not have to remove entire fender.
The inner fender liner does come off completely
First light install took like 2 hours, it's a tight space. It might be easier to remove the tire and the entire fender well but it's totally not necessary! I removed about half of the fender liner retention and folded it back over the tire. Finding all the connection points is kind of tough. The second light, got it done much faster, about an hour. Looks awesome, this was the final step in my total LED conversion. Totally recommend!
These are a great addition to your Jeep JL/JLT fender lights if you have OEM halogen bulbs. They are a bit hard to change out, but just take your time. Make sure. You order the the ones for the halogen replacements. Its only difficult because the fender is apparently held on by the lighting assembly.
My wife bought sequential tail lights for her Wrangler which did not come with the led package. She loves them. So for her birthday I bought her these sequential front fender lights. They are smoke lenses, look awesome, the sequential is very cool. They have been on for 3 months and stillworking and looking good, . We live in Florida and it rains almost every day and have seen no moisture in these lights. She loves them, that's all I have to say about that!
