Can I use white lights without RGB effects?
Yes. The standard white high beam, low beam and fog functions work without activating RGB effects. The dedicated W channel also gives you a white halo option.
Do the headlights and fog lights change together?
Yes. Their RGBW halo colors and effects are synchronized. The halos cannot be controlled independently. Normal high beam, low beam and fog functions use the vehicle’s standard lighting controls.
Which app controls the halos?
Use Happy Lighting through Bluetooth on a compatible iOS or Android device. The app provides color, mode, music-sync, brightness, speed and timer settings. Scan the controller’s QR code or search the app store. Follow the supplied setup instructions.
Is additional wiring required?
The main lights use factory-style connectors. Additional controller wiring is required for the RGBW halos. Follow the included instructions for the controller, harness routing and connections.
Are the brightness figures for one light or a pair?
The listed 12,000-lumen high beam and 6,000-lumen low beam figures are for the headlight pair. The listed 2,400-lumen fog-light figure is per light.
Can the kit handle rain, dust and rough roads?
The published ratings are IP67 for the headlights and IP65 for the fog lights. Aluminum housings and PC lenses support rain, dust, muddy spray, vibration and normal off-road use. Protect the controller and harness connections as instructed; lamp ratings do not establish a rating for the entire installed system.
How does the headlight manage moisture and wear?
A moisture-release vent helps reduce condensation. The PC lens resists scratches and impacts, while a brightening coating supports vivid RGB output. The LEDs have a published estimated lifespan of 50,000+ hours; actual life and color appearance depend on use and conditions.
Does it help with flicker and radio interference?
Built-in headlight CANBUS compatibility helps minimize flicker and bulb-out warnings. EMC protection helps reduce electromagnetic interference. Vehicle software programming is normally unnecessary on compatible vehicles.
What if the app will not connect or synchronize?
Check controller power, ground and seated connectors. Enable Bluetooth and app permissions, disconnect other paired phones, then restart the system and reconnect in Happy Lighting. Check an out-of-sync lamp’s RGBW connection according to the supplied instructions.
What about SAE/DOT and color-halo use?
LED Factory Mart lists the lighting assemblies as SAE/DOT compliant. This does not mean every RGB color or flashing effect is permitted on public roads. Check the applicable requirements and contact support for product compliance documentation.
What should I check before ordering?
Confirm JL / JLU or JT fitment, model year, original lighting connectors and fog-light mounting points. Contact support with your vehicle details if the bumper, lamps or harness have been modified. This kit is not for Wrangler JK.
